Lisa and Graeme have always been drawn to the natural beauty of the Mid North Coast, and Seal Rocks holds a particularly special place in their hearts. It’s where Lisa’s parents spent time together in the early days of their relationship, soaking up the ocean air and peaceful atmosphere. Years later, when Graeme first came to Australia, Lisa took him to Seal Rocks knowing he’d fall in love with it too.

CEREMONY
“Our ceremony was held on the Sugarloaf Point headland in front of Seal Rocks Lighthouse Cottages. We were blessed with a sunny afternoon – the ocean breeze, brilliant blue sky, and sweeping views made it absolutely unforgettable. Bagpipes welcomed us to the altar, setting the tone for a heartfelt and emotional ceremony surrounded by our closest friends and family.”

RECEPTION
“Our reception followed at the cottages, which made everything wonderfully seamless for our guests with accommodation and celebration all in one place.

We began with champagne and grazing platters accompanied by a live acoustic set in the afternoon. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we played lawn games, shared plenty of laughs, and raised our glasses together.

We enjoyed an incredible dinner under the stars, and the evening unfolded just as we’d hoped –  a joyful celebration filled with delicious food, great music, and plenty of dancing.

“We drew inspiration from Australian native flora, with a palette of soft eucalyptus greens, muted blush tones, and warm neutrals.

To honour the coastal setting, we incorporated subtle nautical elements alongside earthy textures and natural materials – timber, shells, linen, and handmade details. The result was styling that felt organic and effortless, reflecting the beauty of the location while creating a relaxed yet thoughtful atmosphere.”
