“We knew from the moment we got engaged that a big wedding wasn’t quite right for us. While we absolutely love attending weddings, we felt our own day was something we wanted to share just between us and our kids. That said, if you know me, you’ll know I love a good boogie – so there was no way I was missing out on that part of the celebration! That’s when we came up with the idea to elope in secret and surprise everyone by announcing our marriage at what they thought was our ‘engagement party’ a few weeks later.”
