Specialising in small, intimate weddings and romantic escapes, Amaroo combines beautiful natural surroundings with adults-only luxury accommodation, allowing couples to slow down, celebrate and enjoy the experience with those closest to them.
CEREMONY
Amaroo Escape is perfect for elopements, micro-weddings and small, intimate ceremonies, offering couples the freedom to celebrate their day in a relaxed and private setting surrounded by nature.
Choose from beautiful outdoor locations across the property, including picturesque riverfront areas, open countryside and secluded bushland settings. With only your closest family and friends by your side – or simply the two of you – Amaroo Escape offers a wonderfully personal alternative to a traditional wedding venue.
Each ceremony can be tailored to suit the couple and their vision, with the natural landscape providing a beautiful backdrop for both the ceremony and photographs.
RECEPTION
Amaroo Escape is designed for elopements, micro-weddings and small, intimate receptions rather than traditional large-scale weddings. Our outdoor spaces provide a relaxed setting for celebrations such as a beautifully styled seated meal, long-table dinner, grazing-style gathering or casual cocktail-style reception.
Reception arrangements can be tailored to each couple, with external suppliers welcome to help create a celebration that suits their style and vision.

Minimum guests: No minimum – elopements for just the couple are welcome
Maximum guests: 20-30 guests.
FOOD & DRINKS
We don’t currently provide in-house wedding catering, giving couples the flexibility to bring in external caterers and suppliers to suit their celebration.
External beverages can also be arranged as part of the couple’s individual wedding plans and discussed with us prior to the event.
ACCOMMODATION
Amaroo Escape offers three secluded, adults-only luxury tents, accommodating up to six adults onsite.
Each tent is designed for two and features a king bed, private ensuite with freestanding bath and open shower, kitchenette, reverse-cycle air conditioning and private deck. Guests also enjoy their own Weber BBQ and wood-heated outdoor fire tub. The three tents are positioned separately throughout the property, providing privacy while allowing a small wedding party to stay together onsite.
Additional accommodation is available in and around Gloucester, approximately 20 minutes from Amaroo Escape.
STYLING
Amaroo’s style is relaxed, romantic and distinctly Australian, with the natural landscape providing a beautiful backdrop that requires very little embellishment.
Couples are welcome to bring their own vision to the property and work with external wedding stylists, florists and other suppliers to create a celebration that feels personal to them. Styling arrangements can be discussed with us during the planning process.
SPECIAL FEATURES
One of Amaroo Escape’s greatest features is its privacy. Set across a large working farm with Manning River frontage, the property offers beautiful natural locations for ceremonies, photographs and quiet moments together. Couples and their guests can explore the property using their own electric buggy, with bush tracks, lookouts, river swimming holes and secluded picnic locations to discover.
Amaroo is adults-only and, as a working farm with surrounding wildlife, pets are not permitted.
